CHRISTIAN LACROIX / 19. July – 6. August 2007 Semper-Depot, Vienna, Austria. A cooperation with Theater an der Wien & ImPulsTanz (Vienna International Dance Festival 12. July - 12. August 2007, program www.impulstanz.com)
Choreographer Christian Rizzo and the designer and scenographer David Dubois created the installation for the retrospective of twenty-years creative work by Christian Lacroix at first for the "International Fashion and Photography Festival Hyères 2007" at the famous Villa Noailles where artists such as Picasso, Man Ray, Luis Buñuel, Cocteau, ... made their vacancies and have been inspired. Lacroix, who is born near of Hyères in Arles, chooses as leitmotiv "Spirituality and Play" to express his emotion for this place of inspiration. The installation will be adapted to the spaces of the Semper Depot in Vienna by David Dubois (designer of the Lacroix shops) and Christian Rizzo.
